Yes. VendorOS works as a Progressive Web App on any phone browser. The Sales and Inventory screens also work offline — new orders and stock updates are saved on your device and automatically sync once you're back online (look for the "pending sync" badge in the header).
Every new signup gets a free 7-day trial with full access. After that, choose Starter (₦3,000/month) or Professional (₦5,000/month) — both with free setup, no hidden fees, and you can cancel anytime.
No. VendorOS is not a marketplace where strangers discover your products — it's a private back-office tool for managing your own existing customers, orders, inventory, and finances, with AI and WhatsApp built in.
No, VendorOS doesn't operate its own delivery fleet. It helps you track order and delivery status and automatically notifies your customer via WhatsApp when their order is out for delivery or ready for pickup.
Account & Setup
Click "Start Free Trial" on the homepage, enter your details and business name, and you're in. From there you can use the AI setup assistant (Dashboard → "Finish setting up your account", or go straight to your setup chat) to walk through connecting WhatsApp and adding your first product — just like talking to a person.
Yes — every new account gets a conversational onboarding guide (Dashboard → "Finish setting up your account") that asks one question at a time: your business name, your WhatsApp Business number, your first product, and your first customer.
Currently each account is linked to one business. If you run more than one business, contact support@vendoros-ai.com to discuss options.
Inventory & Product Management
Yes. The Inventory page shows live stock levels, flags low-stock and out-of-stock items, and lets you restock with one click — even offline.
Yes. Every product has a VAT rate (default 7.5%, the Nigerian standard) and you can mark individual items as VAT-exempt. VAT is calculated automatically on every sale.
Yes — click "Notify Customers" on the Inventory page and VendorOS sends a WhatsApp message about newly restocked items to every customer who has a WhatsApp number on file.
Sales & Payments
Yes. Create an order from the Orders page with one or more line items; VendorOS calculates the subtotal, VAT, and total automatically and logs it to Finance.
Yes. Every order automatically gets a sequential, VAT/FIRS-ready invoice (e.g. INV-0001) — view and print them from Finance → Invoices.
We accept all major Nigerian bank cards, bank transfers, and mobile money through Flutterwave, with instant confirmation.
WhatsApp & AI Features
Yes — you'll need a WhatsApp Business number (a regular personal WhatsApp number won't work) to connect. Connecting is done through a guided signup popup in Settings — no developer portal, app, or webhook to set up yourself.
- You'll need a WhatsApp Business number to connect — a regular personal WhatsApp number won't work.
- Log in to your VendorOS dashboard and go to Settings, then click Connect WhatsApp (or use the setup chat).
- This opens Meta's WhatsApp Business signup popup — follow the prompts to select or create your WhatsApp Business Account and confirm your Business number.
- Once you finish the popup, VendorOS finishes linking automatically — no waiting on our team and no webhook URLs or tokens to copy yourself.
- Settings will show Connected as soon as setup completes; if it briefly shows verifying, give it a minute and refresh.
- Stuck, or don't have a WhatsApp Business number yet? Chat with us here or email support@vendoros-ai.com.
Once connected, OgaAI, Customer Care, Sales, Inventory, and Finance can all chat with customers on your behalf, answer questions, and send payment confirmations, order updates, delivery status notices, and new-stock alerts automatically.
VendorOS uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power every agent, including OgaAI, Customer Care, Finance, Sales, Inventory, and Marketing.
Notifications & Alerts
Yes. When you mark an order as paid, VendorOS sends the customer a WhatsApp payment confirmation; status changes trigger order-update and delivery messages too.
WhatsApp is best for customer-facing updates (payments, orders, delivery, new stock) since most customers already check it daily. Email is used for your own account notices like trial reminders and billing.
Security & Data
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use Row-Level Security so each business can only access its own data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes, your data lives in a managed, automatically-backed-up Postgres database. Offline sales/inventory entries are also queued safely on your device until they sync.
Yes. You can export your customers, orders, and transaction data from your dashboard. For a full data export, contact support@vendoros-ai.com.
Reports & Analytics
Yes. Finance → Accounting Report gives you a printable monthly summary — sales, VAT collected (for FIRS remittance), expenses, and net profit — the kind of numbers a small accountant or auditor asks for first.
Yes — the Finance dashboard shows revenue, expenses, refunds, and net profit at a glance, and OgaAI/Finance agent can answer specific questions like "what was my profit this month?"
Subscription & Billing
Go to Settings → Subscription Plan to pay via Flutterwave with a Nigerian card, bank transfer, or mobile money.
Yes — no lock-in. Contact support@vendoros-ai.com and we will process your cancellation within 24 hours.
